Yu Yu Hakusho Collaboration Events and Merch in Japan, Autumn 2026

Plenty is happening for Yu Yu Hakusho fans in Japan between now and early 2027, and the dates overlap in ways that are easy to miss. There is a new Ichiban Kuji, an online kuji with fresh art, a pop-up shop in Ikebukuro, a Kurama hair-care tie-up and a run of capsule toys and figures. I went through the official pages as of 24 October 2026 (JST) and put everything in one place. Where I couldn’t confirm something, I say so.

Ichiban Kuji: Gate of the Demon World

The headline release is the Bandai Spirits Ichiban Kuji built around the Gate of the Demon World material. Every draw is ¥850 and every ticket wins something. The top tiers are MASTERLISE figures, and Sensui and Itsuki get their first MASTERLISE figures here. I wrote a full breakdown in the Ichiban Kuji guide, so I’ll only say this much: shops get stock on a rolling basis from 25 September, so what you find depends on the store.

The online kuji with new illustrations

A second, separate kuji is running on Kujibikido from 8 October to 5 November. It costs ¥770 a draw and the art shows the main cast lounging around in loungewear, which is a very different look from the usual battle poses. The prizes are practical: cushions, acrylic stands, keychains, can badges and mini bromides.

The prize list is simple: S Prize cushions (5 designs, pick your own), A Prize large acrylic stands (5, pick your own), B Prize acrylic stand figures (5), C Prize acrylic keychains (10), D Prize can badges (10) and a mini bromide (5 designs) as an extra prize. The designs cover Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei and Yōko Kurama, with Puu hugged by Yusuke on the cushion art.

One warning: Kujibikido has been in emergency maintenance since 22 October at 22:00 JST, with no restoration time announced. The operator calls it a security-related measure and says no unauthorized access or data leak has been confirmed. Check the site before you plan around it.

LaSana Premior × Yu Yu Hakusho

The hair-care brand La Sana is running a Premior campaign with Kurama as its “beauty hair coach” (蔵馬の美髪指南塾). A prize campaign runs from 15 September to 8 November. The ¥3,980 bonus set is for new subscribers only, so it isn’t a casual impulse buy. Details are on the campaign page.

Bonus set

Premior × Kurama bonus set (魔界も羨む豪華特典セット)

¥3,980 (tax incl.) · new subscribers only · sold 15 Sep onward, limited quantity

Beyond the hair care itself (empty shampoo and treatment bottles, 375 ml refills, a 65 ml Premior hair essence and a 25 ml seaweed essence), the set adds original goods: a multi-poster, two acrylic hairpins and two water-resistant stickers, each pair featuring Kurama and Yōko Kurama. The bonus goods are the draw for fans, but the offer is limited to new subscribers.

Still to come

Ikebukuro pop-up shop

From 31 October to 12 November, eeo Store Ikebukuro hosts a pop-up built around a Japanese fairy-tale theme. It’s the biggest event on the list. I put the details, access and online ordering in the pop-up shop guide. Nagoya’s Sanseido store has new goods until 25 October, which is the day after this was checked, so it’s a last-chance entry.

Capsule toys and figures

The Mejirushi accessory capsules (six designs, ¥300) came back in September. Studio Pierrot’s news page lists two more capsule lines at ¥500 each: plush mascots in seven designs for mid-January 2027, and eye masks and hair bands in five designs for mid-February. On the figure side, S.H.Figuarts Hiei came out on 12 September at ¥9,900 and a Maximatic Plus Kurama prize figure arrives from 29 September. TAITO’s DRESSTA trio of Yusuke, Hiei and Kurama is priced at ¥8,800 each and ships in November, though pre-orders closed on 14 August. Here is what each one looks like.

Price check

Prices run from ¥300 for a capsule to ¥9,900 for a premium figure, so it helps to decide on a budget before you start drawing kuji. Kuji is the one with a spread: ¥850 per draw adds up quickly if you are chasing a particular figure.

Tip for overseas fans

Most of this is Japan-only. Ichiban Kuji ONLINE says it does not ship abroad, does not accept overseas-issued cards and, since 24 August 2026, limits access from outside Japan. The FAQ also warns that goods received through a forwarding service may not be supported if something goes wrong.

If you can’t travel, ordinary goods sold by shops that deliver within Japan, such as figures and capsule toys, are the easier things to route through a forwarding or proxy service. Kuji is harder because you buy by the draw. Check each shop’s own rules first, and read the import and customs rules for your country.

Where I’d spend first

This is opinion, not anything official. If I only had one trip to Japan this autumn, I’d plan it around the Ikebukuro pop-up, because that’s the one with fresh fairy-tale art you can’t easily get elsewhere. For a smaller budget, the capsule plush mascots in January are cheap and include Puu and Koenma. The kuji is a pure gamble, so decide your stopping point before the first draw.

Details can change, check official pages. Dates, prices and stock were checked on 24 Oct 2026 (JST) and organizers can change them without notice.
