Thinking of cancelling your Netflix subscription? Well here’s a reason not to. ‘Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Fighter’ has appeared in the coming soon section on Netflix and will be available to watch from June 26 on Netflix in the Philippines and here’s why we suspect it is coming to North America, too.

Although Yu Yu Hakusho has been available on Netflix Japan for some time, this is the first time the show will accessible in other countries. At least for those of us who don’t use a VPN.

When it comes to anime on Netflix Japan, it is almost unheard of for the English version to be available along side the Japanese release. But this isn’t the case for Yu Yu Hakusho, the Funimation English dubbed versions of all four seasons are already available to watch online.

Netflix is unclear whether or not both versions will be available for streaming outside Japan but as the Funimation dub is already available on Netflix, we expect both versions to be available in other countries, too. Unfortunately, we can’t for sure if the Filipino dub will also be accessible to fans in the Philippines.

Netflix specifies that ‘seasons’, plural, will be available from June 26 so we suspect that all seasons will be available for streaming as it is on Netflix Japan. We can’t say for sure, however, if the Yu Yu Hakusho movies will also be released on the streaming platform.
