Tokyo gets a Yu Yu Hakusho pop-up shop from 31 October, and this one has a clear angle: the cast redrawn in costumes inspired by Japanese fairy tales. It’s held at eeo Store Ikebukuro, with a same-time online sale for anyone who can’t make it. This guide covers the dates, how to get there, what to expect, how online orders work and what overseas fans should keep in mind. The facts below were checked on 24 October 2026 (JST).

What to expect
Per the KADOKAWA announcement, the pop-up sells limited goods using newly drawn art on a Japanese fairy-tale theme and mini-character illustrations. The key visual on the Kadosuto page shows the team in folk-tale outfits, including a strongman with an axe and a bear who reads as Kintarō. The announcement text doesn’t list prices, but the two official goods posters published by eeo Media do, and I’ve used those for the lineup below. The Kadosuto event page is the place to check the final product list before you go.

The purchase bonus is the main perk. For every ¥2,200 (tax included) on one receipt, you get one random illustration card out of six designs, at the shop and on Kadosuto. It ends when the cards run out, so if you want a full set, plan your spending around multiples of ¥2,200.

Goods lineup and prices
Two official posters show the full goods lineup with prices, all tax included. I’m using them as the source for every price below, so treat the figures as the organizers’ own. Poster 2 carries the line that the images are mock-ups and real items can differ, and the product pictures below are crops from those posters rather than product photos. Click a poster to see it at full size.
Two labels on the posters matter for your budget. Items marked オープン (open) are sold per design, so you can pick the characters you want. Items marked トレーディング (trading) come as sealed random packs, with a BOX or complete-set price for buying the whole set. That is the usual meaning of those labels in Japanese merch, but the posters don’t spell it out, so ask the staff if you are unsure. Only the BIG acrylic stand is flagged as sold at the venue and on Kadosuto only.
Open items: choose your design

Open · 6 designs
BIG acrylic stand, folk-tale ver.
The large standing acrylics of the six characters in their fairy-tale costumes. The poster flags this as venue and Kadosuto only, so don’t count on eeo Store online for it.

Open · 6 designs
Niitengo acrylic stand figure, folk-tale ver.
Small chibi acrylic stands drawn in the mini-character style, shown on decorated bases in the mock-up. It is the cheapest standing item on the list.

Open · 6 designs
Acrylic stand figure, folk-tale ver.
Mid-size standing acrylics that appear to use the same folk-tale artwork as the BIG stands, at a lower price. The poster gives no dimensions.

Open · 2 designs
Blanket, folk-tale ver.
The priciest single item on the posters. One design is a row of the six characters, the other a repeating pattern of tiny chibi versions.

Open · 6 designs
Canvas board, folk-tale ver.
Framed wall pieces of each character with a patterned border. The poster does not give the size, so check that in person before you pick.

Open · 6 designs
Acrylic block keychain
Thick acrylic keychains on ball chains with each character in a colour-framed illustration. A cheap way to carry your favourite around.

Open · 6 designs
Collection bottle
The poster image shows six slim, tall pieces with each character’s name at the top. Because the picture is a mock-up, look at the real shape in the shop.
Trading items: random packs

Trading · 12 designs
Niitengo sparkle can badge, folk-tale ver.
Round chibi badges with a sparkly pattern behind each character. The BOX price equals 12 packs, which suggests one pack per design, though the poster does not say so.

Trading · 12 designs
Sparkle can badge, folk-tale ver.
The full-size-character version of the sparkle badges, in the same folk-tale outfits as the stands. Pricing matches the chibi set above.

Trading · 12 designs
Trading acrylic keychain, folk-tale ver.
Two shapes appear in the mock-up: wide fan-like pieces and tall card-like keychains, with chibi art on the tall ones. This is the most expensive full box on the list.

Trading · 12 designs
Metal card collection, folk-tale ver.
Metal trading cards with a textured, patterned foil finish behind each character. At ¥550 it is the cheapest random pack on the posters.

Trading · 6 designs
Mini clear file collection, folk-tale ver.
Small clear files in the mini-character art, each showing a different character. Six designs keep a full set to a single BOX.

Trading · 6 designs
Trading card-style acrylic stand, folk-tale ver.
Acrylic stands cut in the shape of a playing card, each with a character in folk-tale dress. They stand on a small base for display.

Trading · 6 designs
Can badge, 57 mm
Larger badges with close-up, anime-style faces instead of the fairy-tale art. This one is sold with a complete-set price rather than a BOX.

Trading · 6 designs
Acrylic card
Landscape acrylic cards that look like frames from the anime, each with a coloured border and a name tag. The complete set is six packs.

Trading · 6 designs
Acrylic plate badge
Die-cut badges shaped around each character, with the name written in brush calligraphy underneath. The poster names all six: Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei, Yōko Kurama and Koenma.
The posters don’t say which items are on sale online and which are venue-only, apart from the BIG stand. Stock can also change per site, so confirm on Kadosuto or eeo Store online before you plan an order. Doing the math before you go helps. A full BOX of any 12-design trading item costs more than the blanket.
Getting there and hours
The shop is on the ground floor of the Alpha Building in Higashi-Ikebukuro. The official eeo Store page gives about seven minutes on foot from the JR Ikebukuro Station East Exit, and notes that Sunshine 60 Street is very close. That is the only official walking time I found, so use a map app for the exact route on the day.
Opening hours depend on the day. Weekdays are 12:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are 10:00 to 20:00. Tuesday 3 November is Culture Day, a national holiday, so I’d expect the 10:00 start that day. That is my reading of the rule, not something the organizers state, so confirm before you go.
Opening day is a Saturday, so the shop opens at 10:00, the same minute the online window starts. That makes day one the easiest time to compare what is on the shelves with what is on Kadosuto. Weekday visits start at noon, which suits anyone arriving from the airport or a morning elsewhere in Tokyo, but remember the bonus cards run out on a first-come basis.

Can’t go? Ordering online
KADOKAWA is selling pop-up goods online at the same time through Kadosuto and eeo Store online. The first order window runs from 31 October at 10:00 to 12 November at 23:59. There are also online-exclusive items, and different goods are sold on different sites, so check both.
Kadosuto’s page also lists a later round of orders from 16 November (10:00) to 8 December (23:59), with delivery planned for March 2027. Treat delivery as an estimate. The purchase bonus applies on Kadosuto too, according to the announcement.
- 31 OctPop-up opens. Online orders open at 10:00.
- 12 NovPop-up ends. Online window closes at 23:59.
- 16 Nov – 8 DecLater online orders on Kadosuto.

Nagoya: Sanseido new goods
Separately, the Sanseido Bookstore Nagoya main store has new Yu Yu Hakusho goods from 2 October to 25 October 2026, according to the official anime account. As of this writing (24 October, JST) it ends tomorrow, so this is for anyone already in Nagoya. The post doesn’t say which goods or what they cost, and I haven’t been able to confirm either. Look at the store’s own notice before you make a special trip.
Tip for overseas fans
KADOKAWA’s goods support desk covers Japan only, and I couldn’t confirm whether Kadosuto or eeo Store online ship abroad. Check each site’s shipping and payment pages before you plan around them. If they don’t ship to you, a Japan-based forwarding or proxy service is the usual route. Read its fees and your country’s import rules first.
If you’re in Tokyo, the pop-up is the simple option. For goods you’d rather not rely on stock for, the online window runs until the night of 12 November. Ask the shop whether tax-free shopping is available, since I couldn’t verify that, and check which payment methods it accepts.
Details can change, check official pages. Dates, hours and ordering windows were checked on 24 Oct 2026 (JST). The Nagoya event ends on 25 Oct. Please confirm hours and stock on the official pages before you travel.
